The Titan of the Aegean

Melina CThe 40 meters length of Melina C, a Maiora built in 2008, draw a futuristic and aerodynamic profile. At a cruising speed of 23 knots, this summer it will be one of the fastest and most beautiful Titans of the Aegean.

Melina C brings together the five virtues that are requested from a large length yacht: safety, speed, performance, beauty and comfort. It incorporates the most advanced telecommunications and navigation technology, and the last decoration trends. Its modern, sober and subtle style tries to take care for all the details. The exterior and the interior areas have been designed with the same comfort and beauty requirements. Thus the large upper deck, covered in teak, is divided in three areas that are visually integrated: dining room, bar and outer bridge. The table, that can also turn into two low small tables to have coffee, is designed to welcome comfortably twelve guests. The teak ceiling and the illumination enhance the warmth and make the space unique. Behind, a white leather sofa and a bar, to enjoy a cocktail during the day and magnificent evenings. It is also possible to watch a film under the stars, as an waterproof 42 inches LCD television screen has been installed there. On the area destined for sun bathing several deck chairs have been arranged, on the privileged aft deck esplanade.

Technology and beauty

Melina CThe minimalist approach of the interiors of Melina C, based in the combination of colours and warm materials, is one of the assets of the interior design. The saloon and the dining room, both with the floor covered with wood, enjoy enormous large windows that keep the guests always visually in contact with the horizon. In the living area there are two sofas and a 50 inches plasma television. At the entrance there is another 40 inches one that allows to see the screen from the outside of the main deck astern. The delicious recipes from the on board chef are served in the luminous dining room, where glass, leather, wood and stainless steel predominate. Around the table twelve dark brown leather chairs are arranged, heightening the elegance of the silverware.
A wood staircase goes down to the owner’s cabin, located forward. As in the rest of the yacht, the floor has been covered with wood strips, although in this case the walls have been panelled in white. The numerous windows fill the cabin with light, decorated with clear colours and natural fabrics. To avoid sacrificing the sensation of amplitude, the bathroom of the main atmosphere has been separated with a frosted glass structure. A large double bed, sofa, writing desk, dressing room and audio-visual equipment with a 32 inches television complete the cabin.
Melina CIn the rest of the cabins of Melina C, three doubles and two with individual beds, the minimalist and comfortable style that reigns throughout the yacht is maintained. Wood, glass and stainless steel are the materials that predominate. All of them enjoy abundant light thanks to several port holes type oval windows, open both in the main atmosphere as well as in the bathroom, that also in these cases are integrated with frosted glass doors. Guests enjoy a complete audio-visual equipment, with a plasma television screen, and have air conditioned. Although it is not likely that they would spend much time in the cabin, because the yacht is well equipment to enjoy numerous water sports. Stand out two outboards, a 5,50 metres Novurania with a 190 Hp engine and a four metres Avon with a 40 Hp engine, water skis, floater tubes, a wave runner, banana, snorkelling and fishing equipment.
