On the wake of Marco Polo

Blue Eyes runningThe Italian shipyard CRN has exceeded all expectations with the launch of Blue Eyes. A front line technological work that has come along with a handcrafted decoration carefully produced to the smallest detail, following a story line that recalls the travels of Marco Polo.

Blue Eyes is the latest launch by CRN in the length of 60 meters. Unit number 126 from the Italian shipyard has the steel hull, with bulb, and the superstructure is in aluminium, its exteriors have been designed by the studio Zuccon International Project with a lengthened profile that highlights the blue hull, that rises on the bow up to the main deck level to wrap the owner’s cabin, whereas on the rest of the yacht the colour only covers up to the coaming of the main deck, the rest being white. The layout of the fly bridge also helps to give a great balance to its volumes, which concentrates its habitable volumes forward.
The interiors are designed by the architect Fabrizio Smania, who has followed the guidelines of the owners, whose previous yacht was a 42 meters with the same name. There are not, therefore, newcomers to the world of super yachts. In its decoration stands out a story line that builds a metaphorical journey to the east, adopting in an eclectic way the best from the countries visited by Marco Polo in his famous trip. From the silks of the celebrations of medieval Venice to the multicoloured coral, turtle shells, the mother of pearl and shells from distant China, they have been masterfully used in the decoration of each of the atmospheres, all different and personal, but also all together perfectly in the style of the yacht. In this imaginary journey, the decoration made a stop over in old England, which has taken some inspiration to create the atmosphere of the classic marina in some of the guest cabins. The suggestion of the voyage is already in the interiors of the yacht itself.
