There are not two equal
Bluegame is the name with which the Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo, specialised in building custom mega yachts has christened its new range of open boats, of which the 47 is the first unit, although a second 57 footer model is already foreseen.
Although it is difficult to find a term to define the concept behind the proposed name Bluegame, the one that responds the best to the idea that the designers and the shipyard wanted to convey is the one of “cross dimension” in the sense that it provides a bridge from the point of view of the use and the navigation program, between the different types and styles of boats available nowadays in the market, but that are limited to just one or at the most two navigation programs.
In fact, the idea of this yacht is to offer to the owners a wide range of possibilities, just like the SUV typology in the car industry. The Bluegame formula is based on on a extremely effective and versatile hull, the prospective owner can choose up to eight different configurations depending on their preferences: Open (coastal day cruiser), T-Top (with a protector rigid roof to widen its potential as a cruiser), Hard Top (with closed superstructure giving a protected space), Tender (with a solarium area on the top of the hard ceiling), Fisher (with tuna tower and stowing lockers for bait and catches), Caddy (with larger deck areas for multiple purposes related to water sports), Toy (Tender version with Caddy deck), and Race Support (Fisher base but with Hard-Top).
However, the options are in fact many more, - up to 2500 mathematical possibilities, says the shipyard -, as the various equipment options and the accessories are added to the three different types of Hard Top, the interior ones, - with five different versions -, the deck ones and finally the paint of the hull, the deck and the rigid roof, each one able to have independent colours. The result that the owner might expect has virtually no limits since the possibility of choosing among so many possibilities will lead to a truly unique and exclusive unit, perfectly suited to every need and aesthetic criteria.
