Style and technology
This 100 footer created by the artisans of the Bordeaux based shipyard CNB is a compendium of technology, design and modern lifestyle; there is no doubt that it will set a trend for future generations of sailing yachts.
Whether sailing close hauled thanks to its membrane sails that allow, together with its keel of 4,20 meters draft, to go up wind at angles of a thoroughbred, or to sail downwind with plenty of strength thanks to the energy of its fancy asymmetrical spinnaker with its tack on the sharp end of its bow, the sensations offered by the new Chrisco designed by Luca Brenta and produced by the renowned Bordeaux shipyard can only be explained with a single word: excellence.
The process leading to the completion of Chrisco is one of those examples that is worth to be remembered, and that only occurs once every so many throughout the live of a shipyard. From the knowledgeable and experienced owner, willing to explain his desires and to wait, as well as to invest and take risks, to please them, to the meticulous and convinced designer that finds in the client an ideal partner with whom to express his concerns and ideas. But above all the dedication of a yard that provides its best engineers, its most skilled craftsmen and its industrial potential to service this chimera, two and half years later having turned into a stunning reality.
Luca Brenta has showed on sailboats produced by Italian shipyards his vocation as a designer of fast boats who, without betraying their pedigree, goes beyond the border of the racing prototype and position themselves by means of subtle touches of comfort and specially much design work into the most exclusive luxury. On board of Chrisco, and as we mentioned, thanks to the willingness of the owner and the effectiveness of the yard, this idea is applied in its fullness and goes beyond the limits that have been imposed until now.
