The Aicon 85 Fly is the new flagship of the Sicilian shipyard Aicon Yachts. On which they have put all their experience and know how. Both the inner design as the outside has been meticulously studied to offer the maximum expression of luxury and comfort.

Elegance, power and the unmistakable avant-guard style of the Italian shipyard are the concepts upon which the new flagship from Aicon Yachts, the Fly 85 is inspired. Built at the shipyard that the company has in Giammoro, the outer design has been conceived by Aicon Yachts engineering department together with the architect Marco Mannino, who has also been responsible for the interiors.
The beginnings of this young Italian shipyard dates back to 1991, when Fincatieri ordered to Arcom – a company owned by Lino Siclari and until then dedicated to the installation of wood and steel pieces in hotels and airpor ts and the decoration of large cruises. Therefore, in 1993 Aicon was born with the aim of making decoration works for the nautical sector. The success of the company was such that only five years after its creation it already has thirty employees working in the shipyard that Azimut has in Avigliana. Perceiving the potential of the company, Siclari bought a shipyard in Viareggio to begin the construction of luxury yachts under its own denomination: Aicon Yachts. The first model built was the 56 - under the initial denomination Antago 56 - and during the last seasons other models have been added like the 54 Fly, the 64 Fly, the 62 Open, the 72 Open and now the new flagship, the 85 Fly.

Elegance and Sportsmanship

Aicon Yachts designs know perfectly how to combine elegance with sportsmanship and to create the lines of its flagship they have resorted to this formula that to date has given so much success to the shipyard. The design of this boat heightens the amplitude of the spaces that have been rigorously studied to obtain the right balance between the interiors and the exteriors. Special attention has been given in maintaining the contact with the sea at all times, especially in the interiors, with the large panoramic stained-glass window of the saloon and the ample opening portholes located in each one of the four cabins. The outer distribution is centred, mainly, on the ample fly bridge, where everything has been arranged to enjoy relaxation outdoors. Besides the outer steering position, this space has an ample dinette with auxiliary bar cabinet and a generous solarium area of with a whirlpool bathtub astern. In addition, all the dinette area and the stern solarium can be covered with a hard top with a canvas electrical folding system.
The dinette has a large C shaped sofa that is able to accommodate a total of eight people. In addition, the dinette - that occupies the central area of the bridge can be turned into a large solarium lowering the central table. This area is complemented with the L shaped solarium next to the outer steering console and a one second solarium on the perimeter of the dinette that integrates with the whirlpool astern. On starboard, there is the bar that in addition to an elegant U shaped bar top caters for the guests, has been equipped with a sink, a fridge and a barbecue. The projecting of the fly bridge has a crane to launch and to hoist the tender that is stowed in a specific cradle located astern. The access to the fly bridge is made either by means of a staircase located on the starboard side of the cockpit, or through stairs located in the saloon. The steps of this last one made in teak with curved shape is an excellent example of the style and the design that Aicon Yachts has wanted to imprint on their flagship. The cockpit is the one in charge to welcome the people on board and also the area chosen for the outer celebrations where there is more protection than on the fly bridge. Therefore, the shipyard has placed in this area a large teak table in front of the padded seat of the transom to which individual type chairs have been added.
