Towards Eco-friendliness
A double-layered glass superstructure with solar panels is the true head-turner on this yacht, but her design goes far beyond respect for the environment and features a host of important functional aspects.
The 36,000m² shipyard of Italian-based Arcadia Yachts produces a range of yachts measuring between 75 and 175 feet. Owned by the Pellegrino family and with naval architecture by Guida Engineering Design, the firm is a relative newcomer yet has already wowed the industry following the presentation of its flagship at this year’s Düsseldorf Boat Show. Arcadia 85 boasts state-of-the-art exteriors based on a revolutionary double-layered glass deckhouse with solar panels and stunning interior furniture by Poltrona Frau and Schiffini, two of today’s most sought-after design houses. What’s more, this yacht offers low fuel consumption, optimum stability and a highly-competitive sale price.
Under its conventional appearance, Arcadia, an exploration yacht produced by Royal Huisman, hides many treasures: refined technique, constructive innovations and, above all, the immaculate exclusive elaboration of the Dutch shipyard.
