The Italian shipyard Benetti this season unveiled its new Class range. The Delfino 93 may be the most compact, but she has enjoyed roaring success since the project outset, with three units sold even before the first was launched.

The Italian shipyard Azimut is renewing the totality of its range, with new design elements and inner decoration styles. The Azimut 105 follows in the line started by 116 Azimut and the Azimut 75, but keeping its own personality adapted to its size. The first unit was launched in July of last year and presented at the Cannes Boat show 2005.

The new aesthetic resources that define the Azimut 62 S are based on the degree of the light intensity. New openings, fixed or movable, allow an even greater natural light entrance, and simultaneously it offers new perspectives from the outside. All of it without giving up the attractive sport image of this range built by the Avigliana based shipyard.

New team of designers to develop a new typology based on a new hull design. All new for the launch of the new Magellano range by Azimut. We had the opportunity to sail onboard the first Magellano 74, first model of this series by the Italian make.

The boat is the prolongation of ones own house over the sea.This it is the basic concept that Stefano Righini and Carlo Galeazzi,Azimut designers, have promoted in this model, with large interior space that receive a great amount of natural light. But also the exteriors are remarkable, for its great standard equipment and for the good use made of the fore deck space.

The Azimut Leonardo 98 was presented in its first version at the 2002 Cannes boat show and set a milestone as it combined a very sporty image with the typology of the large motor yachts with fly bridge.Three years later the model has experienced a complete redesigning as far as the layout, but it keeps good part of the image that gave it its success.

The golden ratio

The new Azimut 70 explores new design ways. The adoption of shapes similar to those of a shark fin and the use of the golden ratio are the most outstanding on its outer lines. The addition of equipment to improve the navigation and the comfort stand out among the technological aspects. 

 THE PERFECTION OF SHAPES

The Azimut 82 is, along with the Azimut 75, the most recent incorporation to the catalogue of this Italian make. Presented to the public at the Cannes yacht and boat show and also present at the Barcelona boat show, where we had the opportunity to sail on it, the Azimut 82 is one of the best models in this length range.
The Italian shipyard Azimut has reached a high degree of perfection when it comes to designing and manufacturing yachts of around 26 meters. Its direct predecessor is the Azimut 85, a successful yacht that is still on the catalogue as it barely has three years of history. With just a meter less in length Stefano Righini has achieved a development of the concept with almost perfect shapes, whereas Carlo Galeazzi has structured well organised interiors with a warmth atmosphere.
